(a) Any Graduate in Three Year Course in any discipline from a recognized University is eligible for this post with minimum 60% marks, or equivalent and have passed Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level
(b) Any B.E. or B. Tech in Four Year Course from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent can apply for this post.
(c) A Final Year/Semester student is also eligible to apply. He should produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.
You must have an NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate to have a career in Indian Air Force.

Selection Procedure for NCC Candidates:
You are eligible for SSB interview without any entrance exam like NDA, CDSE, and AFCAT. To get selected you must pass in the SSB Interview which will be taken by the service selection board.
The SSB interview is a five days selection process. There will be a personal interview, group testing, etc. to check your personality, your leadership capacity, etc.
Then you will have to pass in the PBT. You are allowed to appear in The Pilot Battery Aptitude Test only once in your lifetime.
This PBT will test your ability to read instruments, mental strength, and control over your movements.
If you qualify in the PABT and the subsequent medical examination, you will be sent for a training course at the Air Force Academy.
Thus, you will be commissioned as a pilot in the Indian Air Force after completion of your training from the AFA.
