Applications are invited from the Assam youth to partly enter the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (SCERT D.EI.Ed. Course) course 2018-2020 in elementary education. Applicants should be permanent resident of Assam State.
You should be interested in taking the teaching profession at the primary level.
This course will be organized in the state’s NCTE recognized teacher education institutions. To get compulsory professional skills from July 1, 2018 to the academic session 2018-2020.

It can be noted here that achieving this diploma will not enable it to claim admission in primary schools, but it will be made eligible for that.
Selection Procedure of SCERT Diploma in Elementary Education:
Admit Card: Candidates will be able to download their admission form from http: // www.scertassam.co.in from April 26, 2018.
In order to download the entry letter, you will have to enter the registration number and date of birth during submission of the application form online.
Pre-entrance examination (PET) and Vanue: There will be a Pre-Entry Test (PET) for the selection of candidates, for which the district will be DIT site. However, on the basis of the number of candidates, the examination can be conducted in nearby schools / colleges.
SCERT D.EI.Ed. Course Application Process:
Candidates can apply online only by logging in at http://www.scertassam.co.in
Application Fee: Rs. 250.00 (Rs two hundred and fifty) for all categories of online payment (internet banking / credit card / debit card / wallet)

- On-line submission date of application: March 12, 2018
- Date of online submission of application on: March 31, 2018
Incomplete / Inappropriate application will be rejected.

SCERT D.EI.Ed.Eligibility Conditions:
Applicant should not be less than 18 years old and should not be more than 34 years by July 1, 2018.
Candidates from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes categories will be exempted for 2 years.
Reservation: Reservation of seats for candidates of reservation categories with OBCI MOBC / Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / handicapped persons will be PWIDI according to the existing government rules.

Educational Qualification for SCERT D.EI.Ed.:
Lower Primary Level: Applicant should have passed 10 + 2 examination from accredited boards / councils, with at least 50% marks in secured total drop marks in additional optional. Or, graduate in the Arts / Science / Commerce stream from a recognized university.
For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, a total of 5% marks will be allowed in the total.
Upper Primary Level: The applicant should be graduated from a recognized University in Arts / Science / Commerce stream.
